Santa Monica, CA | September 21, 2016 — Scott Lifschultz, founder and president of SPL Realty Partners, a leading national tenant representation firm announced the successful closing of another Destination XL “DXL” store in Southern California. The Casual Male XL will close at the Esplanade in Oxnard and relocate to 1720 Ventura Blvd., Oxnard with a new DXL store.
DXL is under currently under construction in the former El Torito space, a freestanding 7,080 SF building with Ventura 101 Freeway visibility. The building sits adjacent to Red Lobster and near Men’s Wearhouse, Fry’s and Marshall’s.
The team of Scott Lifschultz and Mindy Allen of SPL Realty Partners represent DXL in their Southern California expansion and closed this transaction. Rob Devericks and Bill Hagelis of the Hagelis Group represented the building’s ownership Channel Islands LP.
Lifschultz said, “As the company continues to close its Casual Male XL stores and roll them into DXL’s, it was only natural to secure a freestanding building with freeway visibility in the Oxnard market for the relocation and expansion of DXL.”
